Terms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and [OPERATOR_LEGAL_NAME] ("we", "us"), the operator of SpaceDock and spacedock.pro. By downloading or using SpaceDock, you agree to them. They're written to be readable; the headings are part of the terms.
1. What SpaceDock is
SpaceDock is a macOS utility that displays your open windows, browser tabs, and terminal sessions, arranges windows, and saves working contexts ("Spaces"). It runs locally on your Mac and requires macOS permissions (Accessibility, Automation) that you grant and can revoke at any time.
2. Free version
The free version includes all features with a limit of 3 saved Spaces. You may use it for personal or commercial work, on any number of your own Macs, for as long as you like.
3. Pro license
- A Pro license is a one-time purchase of $15 USD (plus applicable taxes) that removes the Spaces limit.
- One license may be activated on up to 2 Macs that you own and use. To move an activation to a new Mac, contact [email protected].
- The license is personal and non-transferable; you may not resell, rent, or sublicense it.
- Your license includes software updates.
4. Purchases and billing
Pro licenses are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), acting as merchant of record. Your purchase is additionally governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Paddle handles payment processing, sales taxes, invoices, and refunds on our behalf. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to circumvent the license mechanism, redistribute modified builds of SpaceDock, or use the software in violation of applicable law. We may decline support or terminate licenses obtained or used fraudulently.
6. Intellectual property
SpaceDock, its code, and this website are our intellectual property. Your license grants you the right to use the software; it does not transfer ownership.
7. Warranties and disclaimers
SpaceDock is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the software will be uninterrupted or error-free — though when it has errors, the changelog shows we fix them.
Nothing in these terms limits warranties or remedies that consumer law in your country grants you and that cannot be waived by contract (including your statutory rights in the EU and UK).
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to SpaceDock is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data or lost profits. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for intent, gross negligence, or personal injury).
9. Changes to the software and these terms
We may update the software and these terms. Material changes to the terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continuing to use SpaceDock after changes take effect constitutes acceptance; if you don't agree, stop using the software (and see the Refund Policy if you're within the refund window).
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [VERIFY: 管辖法域 — 由运营主体所在地决定], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
